The Company intends to inform its stakeholders and the market via frequent Bulletins as well as compulsory financial reports. As the Company does not expect that it will generate any representative revenues until the Vessel is delivered from Sembawang in March 2010, financial reports until the 2nd Quarter 2010 are consequently not going to give representative indications of the Company's financial position.

HLCV BOREALIS sale of construction contracts
Nordic Heavy Lift ASA (NHL) announces that effective 16 December 2009 it has sold the construction contracts for the DP3 5,000 tonne heavy lift crane vessel BOREALIS to a subsidiary within the Acergy Group.

HLCV BOREALIS hull launched

Nordic Heavy Lift ASA (NHL) is pleased to announce that the hull of the HLCV BOREALIS was launched on 19th October 2009 and is now safely afloat alongside the Nantong Yahua Shipyard in Nantong, China.

Nordic Heavy Lift ASA (NHL) is pleased to announce that at the Nantong Yahua Shipyard in China the final preparations have started for launching the hull of the HLCV BOREALIS. The launching is scheduled to take place mid October 2009.

Shareholder's meeting resolution to raise a convertible loan
On 28th May, 2009 a Nordic Heavy Lift ASA Shareholders' meeting was held pursuant to summons of 13th May 2009 regarding raising of a convertible loan in connection with a restructuring proposal in order to enable an orderly redemption of the "Nordic Heavy Lift ASA Senior Secured Callable Bond Issue 2007/2012". The Extraordinary General Meeting adopted the resolution proposed by Board of Directors and the Minutes can be viewed here.

In response to today's article in the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv
In today's article in the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv about Nordic Heavy Lift it appears that the Company's BOREALIS project is experiencing a cost‐overrun of USD 100 million. As the Company has reported in the past, about USD 40 million is due to contractual related matters (mainly deliberately declared options to improve the vessel for deepwater construction work and to meet requirements of the classification society) and a USD 10 million cost increase, as the Company under estimated site team cost due to the number and level of remuneration of highly qualified people needed on different sites.

Heart of Borealis ready for shipment
The heart of Nordic’s Heavy Lift Construction Vessel BOREALIS is the engine room where the main engine(s), generators, compressors, pumps, fuel–lubrication oil purifiers and other major machinery are located. The six Rolls Royce main diesel engines combined with their German built AVK generators have recently past the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). The dual fuel diesel engines were built in Bergen Norway and have a nominal output of max. 5,675 kW each.

Keel laying of HLCV BOREALIS an important milestone
Nordic Heavy Lift ASA is pleased to announce that an important milestone has been reached. On the 10th of November 2008 the keel for the heavy lift construction vessel BOREALIS has been laid at the Nantong Yahua Shipyard in Nantong, China.
